It was okay. There was definitely a good energy to it, and it was a bigger turnout than I expected. It was also nice seeing a bunch of vendor tables with quite a variety of older games to pick through, though I didn't find anything to pick up myself. The parts I didn't like were having to wait outside for a long time to be let in because of the venue being over capacity, and it being really hot and sweaty once inside. The TV areas were kind of crowded together as well, so it was hard to spectate without being in the way of people constantly bumping into you. 1) Welcome to the forum... it's never dead, there's always another life (yeah, cheesy reference) we're a growing community to be honest, a lot of us with busy lives outside of retro gaming, especially me having to keep up FB/the website ( www.retrogamerswinnipeg.blogspot.com btw =D ) but the more people join the forum, the more it should be active. 2) Thanks for coming out to the con. The turn out was way more than expected. No body likes to wait (Trust me, I know, C4 wait times one year was like 3hours), I know and next event we'll be looking at a way bigger venue knowing that many people are going to come out, and from the sounds of it from the vendors/sponsors, we should plan for even more than RGU14. That should help make it a better event. Welcome =D -Nate
