If I had the patients to read a different language I would. But for now I will stay with my localized JRPG's!

I like import games I can read! lol
But for real, I do have a fair import collection. I do have my import saturn w/ X-Men SF and X-Men COTA. Import versions of games are usually cheaper than their NA counterpart. I'm beggin' freinds to send me over games!!! =D
Famicom is cool, i like how multicolored the carts are, however, I have games that I can't read and don't know what's going on. So those games are just sitting there.
It's always been my opinions, Japan gets way cooler games and stuff than us boring NAs! =D

well that's a tough one. It is always hard to get a fair price unless you ebay on boxed famicom's since the fan base is pretty specific. I would almost say hang on to it and wait for a big collector to come along for a good trade (Maybe some point when we get the convention going?). I only have about 8 famicom titles (always looking for more) and I use cloned hardware for them (Also the Retron 5 will also play famicom ^_^y).

"BTW, contemplating selling my Boxed famicom w/ like 20 games. thoughts?" I would as well recommend holding onto them, to ensure you get fair market price is all, PLUS the value of imports has yet to peak in North America

I currently don't have any imports at the moment, but I've thought about getting some for the Famicom and Super Famicom. I used to have a Final Fantasy 5 and a few Dragon Ball Z games for Super Famicom, but I sold them back to the friend I bought them off of.

Thanks for the advice of NOT selling my import famicom collection, i never gave thought to clone consoles changing the import market, making it more possible and desirable for people to now collect and play these games.

Think about it, being a retro collector myself and wanting to get the AAA+ titles I want the best...However I'm Ukrainian which makes me frugal as all hell. So example Cart only Earthbound usually runs $200-280 Average, With box $350+ OR you could go Japanese Super Famicom 'Mother 2' and Pay $20.... YES $20 freaking dollars for the box, cart and sometimes the original wrapping

Love them to a certain extent. I love the box art on a lot of them. I collect the games that never made it over this way (mostly RPG's by Squaresoft). I only collect mint CIB's for imports because there aren't a lot that I want (or heard of, but I'll get into that after I complete some other goals).

Was there anything in particular you were looking for? I can recommend a very good Japanese seller who sells CIB for Cheap

Nothing in particular at this time. I've got a guy on eBay that saves stuff for me as he gets it so shipping's cheap. Is your guy in Winnipeg?
