Kay guys, this is the PSX. Whenever I go on YouTube to check some videos, most from what I see is that people are playing a game on the PSX which the PSX was in Japan only. I don't understand why would say it when it was only release in Japan. Even though this beast looks badass but sadly, Japan get all the good *bleep*s. Oh well, we still have our PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 which it is coming out.

I know that PSX was a nickname for the original PlayStation. I tried to look up the reasoning behind it, but didn't get anything concrete about it. Most things that said anything said that it was an abbreviation given to it during development (short for PlayStation Experimental project/console, or something like that). So, the nickname was used for the PS1 before the actual/official PSX was made by Sony. So, I understand why some people still refer to it as such. Personally, I knew people that called it the PSX, but I never called the PS1 by the "PSX" name. I always just called it the PlayStation, until the PS2 came out. Then I started calling it the PS1.

Well, I guess that somewhat explained about the PS1 nickname but the actual PSX. But in all honestly, I'd prefer calling it PS1. PSX mainly belong to Japan and we should all respects that. Unless you have the actual PSX and have proof, then you have reason to say PSX because you got the PSX from Japan.
