Well, it's that season, and for those who celebrate christmas, I want to know what is that one of few games that reminds you of Christmas? It could what ever game and for what ever reason? (i.e. my friend Ed likes Friday the 13th, but it's because he got it for Christmas) Personally... Mario Duckhunt is what did it for me, I got it for the first christmas I could remember in my action set NES. I'm probably going to pull it out this year at christmas and jam... Also for some reason Little Nemo Dream Master reminds me of Christmas... I don't know why? Maybe it's the PJ's, cool monster powers and candy.. but yeah, I see Christmas in that game=D

I totally know what you mean. It was always a such a magical time of the year, going to bed excited, waking up at 1 o clock in the morning because you can't sleep, then being yelled at by mom and dad to go back to bed, finally drifting off again then finally getting to ravage the bottem half of the tree and lower after having to sit through a big Christmas breakfast. Some of the games that come to mind are: Mega Man 2, Blades of Steel, Wonder Boy, Double Dragon. And in my later years Chrono Trigger, Super Punch Out, Lion King, Killer Instinct. I'm sure there's more but now my minds on what I'm getting this year.

Jampacks were awesome! Getting to try out new games and speculating how much fun you're going to have playing them. I think Christmas really highlights a lot of the nostalgia in gaming.

I don't know if I have a specific game for Christmas as I try to get one new game for Christmas each year. Those games have been a variety of sorts from Gladius, Goldeneye remake, Mario Party 8 etc. One thing that I do all the time with those Christmas games is read the manual thru before playing the game later that day.

When I was growing up, my parents had the rule that if we wanted a game system, we had to buy it with our own saved up money. They would buy us games for Christmas, birthdays, etc. but we had to save up for the system itself. In fact, I think that got me started towards the thrifty penny-pincher I am today So while I don't have any specific memories of new systems for Christmas, I do remember getting a few games for Christmas. The one I remember most would have to be final fantasy 7, as I got so many hours of play out of it. I was never too big on rpg's (and still arent to this day lol) but I remember playing ff7 a ton. To this day its probably the rpg I have ever played the most. I don't really have any game that I play each year at Christmas time, which now that I think about it, is a little sad. I'll have to change that, and start a new tradition this year. Now I just have to choose a game lol.
