When I first started collecting games, I thought going for a complete collection for any system was a daunting, silly task. But after collecting for quite a few years now, I have found the idea to interesting, as it offers a clear direction and set goals to accomplish, which I like. Its reinvigorated my love for game hunting and collecting to be honest. Right now, Im going for a complete in box n64 collection, and a complete cartridge only virtual boy collection. I must admit, i've had GREAT times game hunting with you Matt and trying to complete that N64 thing! It's Awesome!

From finding games for me, to driving me around town, to just hanging out, its been a blast. I have quite a few youtubers and friends to thank for helping me get this far, but you sir have probably been the biggest help of all Now we just need to find you a system to shoot for!

I don't think I'd ever go for a complete collection for a console. Maybe something in the distant future to consider, but not right now. I've been considering going for complete RPG collections for certain consoles. The one I've been thinking about right now is the Wii, as there aren't a lot of high priced games for it, with a few exceptions. If I manage to snag Xenoblade on Black Friday, that'd be a big help toward that.

I want to see a complete N-Gage collection! Best console ever!!! Are you serious? haha, that be interesting. I had a Rayman around here somewhere if you wanted it! =D Thought this would be a fun thread to bump too. As Dalmanator aka kmdbaby aka Kris has since completed his N64 collection. Congrats man! I'm a fair bit closer now too. I'm 23 carts away from a full set. I'm also about 61 boxes and 130 manuals away from a full cib collection, though I'm going in steps by cart first, then cib. I'm think I'm pretty much the same spot I was with my complete cart only virtual boy collection as before. I have 10 games and the system, and need 4 more games to have a full North America set. I'll probably concentrate more on this one when I finish my N64 cartridge collection. Now, as for the comments above, I have actually contemplated making the N-gage my next goal for a complete collection. Sounds silly, but hear me out lol. I like odd systems, it has a small library, and maybe only a few games for it actually command over $50. So while I don't often see games for it, it could be a decently attainable goal still. So if anyone comes across a huge N-gage collection for sale, maybe let me know

Hitman Tommy is going for a full NES set. He's at around 580 games so far. My buddy Jimmy is going for the Gamecube set and I flirted with going for a Dreamcast set, but decided it was crazy.
I like going for sub sets like Black Box games, Konami NES, Capcom NES, or genre games like all the wrestling games on a console or all the racing games kinda thing.

My wife and I have a full NES collection. It takes up a lot of room, but it's important to both of us.
