Retro Gamers Winnipeg (RGCW) has complied different challenges in many retro video game classics. Do you have what it takes to be a RGCW Game Master? One Life Run ChallengeStill one of the best selling games of all time, Super Mario Bros. is many of Generation X'ers FIRST video game they've ever played. It help save the home gaming market from the Atari crash of the late 70's and made Nintendo the powerhouse it is today ( relatively ) Take RGCW's Super Mario Bros One Life Run Challenge! The Objective: - To reach the highest level possible with one life with the highest score. In the event of a tie (including completing the game, which we hope will happen!) the highest score shall be the tie breaker.
Procedure: - Every attempt will be officiated by a RGCW official at an authorized event
- Third party consoles ARE allowed as long as they are not "home made" or modify the original game. An original NES controller must be used for the attempt.
- The attempt will be played on any variation of the NES Super Mario Bros. Cartridge (No "Super Mario All-Stars")
- No Pausing, No Level to Level warps (in level warp tunnels allowed). Disqualification will result. There are no "do-overs"
- Any unfair unforeseen actions can be addressed at the discretion of RGCW official and addressed accordingly.
The highest scores will be recorded on the RGCW website. Other prizes may be included depending on each individual event!

One Life Run - 1055250 [bad audio]So this was recorded days after the other one but not posted due to the audio issue. However since I'll probably never really try this again. I thought what the heck I'd post it anyways. I didn't see much movement on this subject so here you go.
